the medela harmony manual pump? I recently broke my avent isis manual pump which had started to lose its suction anyway then I bought the first years electric pump and it takes forever to me and makes me sore. I cannot afford to buy another electric one like the medela electric which i’ve read is great. Does it make sense to buy the medela manual?

It sounds gross but my wife and I bought a Medela electric off of E-bay. Yes it had been lightly used but we only paid 20 bucks. The lady was very nice and boiled everything to clean it. We also boiled it in bleach water several times when we got it. We had no problems and the pump worked great. Good luck.
electric pumps are always better than the manual pumps…more or less for milk production. medula sells a small one that is portable. I had one and it was AWESOME, it had the same suction and not the same price…the only thing was that you had to pump one breast at a time.
