how much would you pay for an ‘as new’ electric breast pump on ebay. plus….?
a new insulated thermos bottle warmer and an Avent cool bag (keeps bottles cool for up to 4 hours) and two brand new in packet tommee tippee orthodontic soothers
i am selling these on ebay and just wondering how much i might expect to get? thanks
the pump is the Avent ISIS iQ UNO electronic breast pump and has only been used a couple of times (plus accessories to use it as a manual pump) Plus 2 Avent bottles
if you look on ebay, used breast pumps are actually quite popular at selling, if they are sterilised then there cant possibly be any germs!

I’m surprised so many people are against this - not only are they well sterile (assuming all the parts where milk can reach are detachable and able to be sterilised), but surely it’s the sensible option in today’s economy? Not all of us can afford a brand new one, and recycling is the eco way to go - including appliances etc, otherwise they’re binned and wasted.
Anyway, I believe that pump is about £80 in the shop? I’d say for the pump, and all the accessories you’re including, you should think to get about £40 + for them. Ebay is so unpredictable though, so many things count - what time you list it, what others are available etc etc, so I couldn’t promise any accuracy!
Good luck!
You mean USED….. eeewww!
Respectfully that is something I would never in a million years buy pre-owned, I don’t think anybody would.
if it has been on ur tits no thanks
I really don’t think the breast pump will sell….
somebody will buy it
…at a substantial discount
come on, if you boil the pieces, this is no big deal really
i don’t blame you buying used to be honest some people never use them around 15 to 20 dollers or about 10 to 15 pound depending on the the name don’t forget some breast pumps are very expensive and i have been looking at used to as i might not like breast feeding.
I have a used pump from my cousin’s best friend. I cleaned every single part thoroughly without, of course, messing with the motor. Many pumps can still harbor bacteria though. I’m not sure how mine would. The tubing and diaphragm don’t make any contact at all with milk. I have used mine successfully for 3 months now, and it’s an original Medela Pump In Style, like 6 years old. It just sat for a long time in storage.
Just make sure you can buy your own breast pieces. Don’t use what comes with it. I think all of the companies sell starter kits at stores or through customer service.
I would be careful about used on Ebay. Mine was free so no hard feelings if it didn’t work or had problems.
"if they are sterilised then there cant possibly be any germs!"
Make sure the pump is one where the milk cannot come in contact with the motor.
See http://www.breastfeedingonline.com/pumps.shtml for a bit of an explanation.
Looking on ebay I would say you will get at least $115-$120 or maybe more. You won’t have any problems selling it from what I have seen on ebay, good luck and happy selling.
That pump is very expensive new so I think it will sell no matter what other people say. Nowadays a pregnant woman goes trough a check up to ensure she’s healthy so I wouldn’t have a problem buying a used pump. Why don’t u check the other used pumps that are on sale on ebay to get an idea? All the best, hope you sell your items!
id pay £20 as there really expensive new
