Help! Do you or have you used an Avent pump?
I bought an Avent hand pump a week ago and I love it! I’ve been using it every day, several times a day, and it’s been working better than the electric pump I have.
Well, for the last couple of days it seems as though I can’t pump longer than a few minutes before I hear a "pop!" and the suction stops working. I have to take apart the pump and reinsert the little white round piece that fits in the whole. Something happens and it causes the white round piece to pop out of place. I’m having to disassemble the pump and fix it in place several times before I finish pumping! It’s very irritating and time consuming . . .
It worked great in the beginning, but it just recently began giving me this problem! Any ideas why?
P.S. Yes, I do have the white round piece inserted the correct way.
Oops . . . that fits in the *hole* not whole.

I would call the 1800 number on the box or instruction manual and tell the operater the problem, they will probably give you a coupon voucher for a new pump…..good luck…
Maybe you have it up too high, otherwise I would call the manufacturer as it may be defective - and at minimum should have a 30 day warranty. That never happened to me with my Avent pump.
I used an advent pump for 18m and then again for 10weeks & never had this problem so i think yours may be faulty…..sorry.
