Breat pumps??!!?? mix and match?

Hi, 1st time round i had an electric avent pump. but theres lots of bits to get lost. i’ve been looking at the medela( if thats how u spell it) one and its had lots of good reviews, but cant says that i’ve seen the bottle to go with them. can you put avent bottle on the medela pump or are the necks too wide?

Is it worth getting a double pump?

I am exclusively breastfeeding my 2 month old little girl but due to various feeding issues (which I won’t go into now!) I express most of her feeds and just breastfeed her a few times a day. I’ve done this for over a month now and it’s been going ok.

Today my Avent ISIS IQ Uno (single electric) breastpump died. So I am wanting to get a new one.

Is it worth me buying a double pump seeing as I express so much? My milk supply does seem to be dwindling a bit so I’d like to get it up. Double pumps just seem so expensive though! Are they worth the money?
Any recommendations for good breastpumps?

I’m in the UK if that helps.

Lansinoh manual pump versus Avent?

Has anyone tried both? I currently have an Avent Isis that I used with my first son and I’m looking to replace it (it’s getting worn). I like the Isis, but am curious about the Lansinoh manual pump.

Best double electric breast pump?

What is the best double electric breast pump? I am going to be a working mom, so I need a good one. I was looking into the Medela Freestyle and Avent Isis, but I am getting conflicting reviews. Also I have tried the Playtex one, and it wasn’t for me. Please help experienced moms.

which breast pump?

which breast pump is best. i have been using a hand help tommee tippee which is good but does make my hands ache after a while! I find i can express about 5-7 ounces in about 20 mins to half an hour from one or both breasts depending on how full they are. Would an electric or battery one be any quicker and would I be able to get more milk out after the hand held one stops being able to express any more. which is a good battery or electric one to go for. I have seen the boots electric and battery operated one on ebay for 25 pounds new but medela, avent etc. ones for 70 pounds plus. does the cheap price of the boots one reflect its efficiency? any advice appreciated! thank you!"

I just bought the Medela Pump In Style double pump and I was wondering how long would it take to build up my milk supply. I just tried it now and expressed about 1 oz all together and I was excited. When I used my Avent Isis manual I only get drips and drabs. I am trying to get 9 week old to have breast milk exclusively, and off formula for good. I have to supplement for now.
Blair- I do nurse on demand when I am home. I work full time, that is why I am asking this question. Also, I am not sure if my baby is getting enough and is satisfied, or she just falls asleep cause she is tired from nursing at my meager milk store.

Manual Breast Pump question?

I have an electric breast pump, used it for 8 months now and it’s annoying, loud and not as efficient as it was in the beginning. Originally I bought the Gerber manual pump, it was useless and I threw it away after only two weeks. I’d like to go back to manual for ease of use, less noise.

The Target close to me has the Avent ISIS regularly .00 marked down to .00! Perfect opportunity to switch to manual but I’d like opinions on that particular pump since I had such a terrible experience with my first manual pump. Thanks in advance!

What Pump Do You Like?

My daughter is 1 month old and I’m going to be going back to work in a few weeks and want to continue breastfeeding. What breast pump do you like best? There are so many to choose from. Any working moms out there that have been successful pumping at work? Obviously I will have limited time so I want an efficient pump that isn’t too big and not too loud. I had a manual pump with other pregnancies but they take too long. I need an electric one. I plan to use the Avent bottles (had previous luck with those). Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!

How much is a good amount to pump?

I have been breastfeeding since my baby was born. She is 8 weeks now and Im still BF at night and pumping as much as I can during the day about every 2-3 hours or so. Sometimes I can pump 2…3 oz and sometimes 4-5 at one time. I am using an Avent manual ISIS but ordered an Avent Duo Electric which should be here next week. How much is a good amount to pump at one sitting? I feel that I should be getting more but I have never breastfed before and not sure if its enough or not.
