My daugter is 2 weeks old and will not latch on. I have been using an evenflo electric pump but it is slow, doesn’t empty my breasts, and leaves my nipples sore. I am considering the Avent Isis IQ or the Medela Pump in Style. I really don’t care about the price I just want the best one. Please if you have had either of these or another that worked well for you let me know, I could really use the input. Thanks.

Thanks for stopping by. I am planning to breastfeed and I am getting an Avent Isis breastpump. I have heard good things about it. I wanted to know on average, how long does it take to make a 4oz bottle of milk for the baby with a breast pump? 15 minutes? Thanks.
Thanks Cindy, God Bless You & Yours!

I have an Avent Isis Manual pump. The rubbery part that goes on the suction cup part has kinda yellowed, its about 2 years old. Is there any way i can clean it? Like boil it in bleach water or sumthing?

I want to pump directly into bottles and was wondering which bottles attach to the Medela pumps. Also if you have any advice regarding pumping and different products that would be great. Thanks !

I just got a gently used Avent from craigslist. There are a few parts that were missing which I didn’t know about until I got home. It was missing the let-down massage cushions which was a huge bonus in getting this breast pump. Also the silicone diaphragm for the electric part. It has a diaphragm for the manual setting if I choose to use it. I’m not sure if that diaphragm would work when I’m using the machine electronically. Also since it has been use do you know if I should replace the tubing or can it be cleaned to use it. I looked on Baby R Us and they have shells which I don’t know if they are the same as the let-down cushions. Please help!! Thank you

Avent Isis IQ Duo Electric Breast Pump or Meleda Pump N’ Style Advance. I’m looking at buying use and replaces all the parts. Which would you say would be the better of the two?

Im looking to get a breast pump. I have avent bottles, so ideally want to get an avent pump.
Are the avent pumps any good? If not which pumps are good?
Thanks

I used the Avent Isis manual pump with my first child, but I found that it took forever to use, so I’ve decided that I’m going to invest some money and buy an electric pump to use with my second child. I’m really thinking of going with the Medela Swing breast pump, but I’d love to hear from moms who have used this pump before. Is this pump worth the investment? Does it take a long time to use? Any other feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I cannot spend over 0.00. I have a Medela Mini Electric and it is 8 years old and going out. It also leaks and sprays milk all over me. I am looking for a good pump. I’m interested in the Avent Isis Uno (electric) and the Medela Swing. Are these any good. I am not interested in manual pumps, only electric. Thanks!
I don’t want to use First years, gerber, playtex, or any of those brands. They are of low quality.
